Graphic Designer & Digital Marketer

The Graphic Designer & Digital Marketer will oversee the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Manchester Media Group and its associated radio stations’ websites and social media assets. The scope of oversite includes, but is not limited to: digital marketing ad campaigns, in-house graphic design, social media campaigns, and all online activity for the Manchester Media Group and our associated brands.

The Graphic Designer & Digital Marketer will work with the programming, promotions, and sales departments as well as directly with clients of the Manchester Media Group. This position will also be our local point person for our third-party vendors.

Necessary skills:

  • Demonstrated skills in effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously and without error in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated to work independently as well as the ability to collaborate with other team members for the success of the group.
  • Solid understating of the digital landscape including an understanding of what audiences each product reaches: exchanges, social media, etc.
  • Understanding of how to track and quantify results for various digital campaigns.
  • Ability to create effective display advertising messages in image ads of various sizes such as animated GIFs and static ads.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cameras and equipment for still photos and videography.
  • Ability to create various video content: display ads, promotional commercials, live videos, skippable video ads and non-skippable video ads.
  • Ability to design and create web pages in WordPress.
  • Demonstrated skill in the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) as well as WordPress and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, Acrobat).
  • Creativity, good business sense and ability to think on your feet.

Promotions and Events Assistant

The Promotions and Events Assistant will coordinate and implement promotions, contests and events of the Manchester Media Group and its associated radio stations’ assets. These promotions will include and are not limited to; live station on-site events, on-air contests, DJ appearances, giveaways, as well as online contesting, writing website and social media posts.  This position is expected to attend all major station events and other events that the stations(s) are involved in within and around Southern New Hampshire. This position requires a positive, energic person capable of team work on multiple projects at one time.

The Promotions Assistant will work directly with the Promotional Director and Digital Marketing Coordinator. They will also work with the programming, promotions, and sales departments as well as with clients of the Manchester Media group.

Digital Marketing Sales Representative

We are looking for an energetic Sales Representative to help expand our digital marketing footprint in New England. A self-starter to focus sales efforts on digital marketing services, especially PPC/SEM management, targeted display and direct response marketing.

While we will provide leads to you that we generate through our website and marketing campaigns, you will need to be aggressive and proactive in generating your own leads through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, events and prior relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • PPC/SEM management, targeted display and direct response marketing
  • Discuss initial client needs, prepare proposals and deliver presentations
  • Understand client’s pain points and eloquently describe our digital marketing solutions and how they will meet client’s goals
  • Always maintain a warm and friendly etiquette with clients, build a relationship with them and win them over
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends
  • Log all lead activity, deals and status in our CRM

Requirements:

  • Experience selling is a big plus

Part Time Street Team Member

Are you interested in radio, promotions, and event marketing? Are you outgoing, responsible, and do you like talking to people at fun events? Are you comfortable learning new software?  Want to learn how a radio station works on a day to day basis? If so, you could be a great member of the Manchester Media Group Promotions Team! You’ll be representing 95.7 WZID, 96.5 Live Free Country, WFEA 1370 AM/99.9 FM, Rewind 94.1 Manchester and 106.9/103.1 The Outlaw!

The Work:
You will interact with thousands of listeners of Manchester Media Group’s five stations on a regular basis. By executing marketing campaigns and on-the-street promotions for clients and various community organizations, you will become a vital asset to our success! You’ll set up and be our on-site presence at concerts, plays, grand openings, and other events. There is also the possibility of available hours during the week to assist at the radio station in the Promotions, marketing and production departments.

The Hours:
Monthly schedules are provided, though updates occur regularly. Hours can range from 2-20 hours per week depending on your availability. Typically, you should be able to work at least a few weekends a month and be able to drive our station vehicles to and from events.

This position would best fit local students (18+) who are working to obtain a Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Communications, Marketing, Broadcast Journalism, or something similar but we welcome anyone with an interest in broadcasting and events.
